Did you know stick insects are the "newest-coolest" birthday gifts?
This one was a friend's thank goodness. Don't get me wrong, I loved it,
but [call me a controlling parent] don't wrap it up and give it to
my child without my tick of approval! :)
But it is a really really awesome insect...

THAT is AWESOME! My boys would LOVE to have something like that!!!
We had a praying mantis for a few weeks a couple of years ago - he was cool but I could only handle him out of his box for about 10 min before he started to freak me out. but yes - Oh so cool!
